Genomics Procurement and Supply Chain Management Community of Practice (PSCM CoP) – ASLM: Inaugural meeting

On 10 December 2024, the first Genomics Procurement and Supply Chain Management Community of Practice (PSCM CoP) ECHO session focused on introducing the CoP’s structure, objectives, priorities, and initial roadmap. The Genomics PSCM CoP was launched during the ASLM Diagnostic Convention in Abidjan Cote d’Ivoire in November 2024.  This initiative marks a pivotal step in addressing pathogen genomics procurement and supply chain challenges in Africa.

The objective of this session was to introduce the proposed structure, objectives, and priorities of the CoP, along with key interventions identified to address genomics-related PSCM challenges.
