This is an APMEN webinar on Mosquito borne diseases on the rise: Drivers of change & need for integrated action. Climate change, deforestation, and urbanization are driving the rise and spread of mosquito-borne diseases like malaria and dengue—threatening both human health and biodiversity. From the resurgence of zoonotic malaria in Asia to the impact of avian malaria on Hawaiian birds, these diseases underscore the deep links between people, ecosystems, and climate.
