Protecting young children in Africa’s Sahel with SMC
“Protecting young children in Africa’s Sahel with SMC” describes a joint initiative about how to optimize the use of seasonal malaria chemoprevention (SMC) and what is needed to scale up this intervention to protect up to 25 million children from malaria each year in West and Central Africa.
This video has been produced by Optimizing Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention in West and Central Africa (OPT-SMC) a project from the Medicines for Malaria Venture (MMV) funded by the European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP) in collaboration with the National Malaria Control Programmes of Ghana, Guinea and Niger.
