Malawi Genomic Surveillance Implementation Plan (2023-2030)

This updated implementation plan for Malawi’s Genomic Surveillance Strategy serves as a roadmap for integrating multi-pathogen genomic surveillance into Malawi’s public health systems. It focuses on pathogens with pandemic and epidemic potential and also supports related research and development efforts. The plan was developed by the Ministry of Health with technical support from the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention through the Africa Pathogen Genomics Initiative (Africa PGI).
