Published: 01/01/2018
The Malaria Atlas Project Data Platform provides different tools to learn about, explore, and work with malaria data. This suite of tools aims to support the needs of diverse audiences, including the general public, the media, policy analysts, engineers, as well as researchers. The platform provides malaria data at varying levels of detail:

- Malaria (incidence, prevalence, mortality)
- Interventions
- Maps
- Layers: Malaria, Interventions, Blood disorders, Accessibility, Explorer
- Commodities
rspatialdata includes amalariaAtlas
package to download, visualize and manipulate global malaria data hosted by the MAP:
- parasite rate (PR) survey data (Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmodium vivax)
- vector occurrence data
- administrative boundary shapefiles to visualise data
- rasters covering a range of modelled outputs related to malaria research such as predicted malaria parasite prevalence
