The 23rd edition of the masterclass hosted by Fredros Okumu from Ifakara Health Institute (IHI) and Sheila Ogoma from Clinton Health Access Initiative(CHAI) features Drs. Philip Welkhoff, Helen Jamet & Meera Venkatesan.

The conversation starts off with the challanges in malaria elimination in Asia, South America and more importantly in Africa and how the vector characteristics and the climate makes it a particularly challanging ordeal in the African continent. Furthermore, important takeaways from world malaria report 2020 are highlighted. Tools for malaria elimination i.e. drigs, diagnostics and vector control are discussed in detail. Also, the opportunity to come up with an optimal combination of intervention is explored.
