The Global Plan for Insecticide Resistance Management in Malaria Vectors (GPIRM) is a WHO and Roll Back Malaria Partnership call to action for governments, donors, UN agencies, researchers, and industry to implement a five-pillar strategy against the growing threat of insecticide resistance.
Coordinated by the WHO Global Malaria Programme and developed through consultations with over 130 stakeholders, the plan outlines global and national strategies, stakeholder roles, and timelines. It also highlights exisitng evidence on resistance, innovative control tools in development, and key research priorities.
