Support to the APMEN Vector Control Working Group
Objectives
Technical and Coordination Support for the APMEN Vector Control Working Group.
The Asia Pacific Malaria Elimination Network (APMEN) is a network composed of 21 Asia Pacific countries that are pursuing malaria elimination, as well leaders and experts from key multilateral and academic agencies. With its unique composition of members from governments, public and private sector organizations, the Network’s mission is to support the achievement of a malaria-free Asia Pacific.
APMEN aims to strengthen entomological capacity and resources for vector control, and to consolidate approaches to address other vector-borne diseases, where appropriate. APMEN’s Vector Control Working Group (VcWG) has been supporting research, training and advocacy to address the vector control priorities of countries in the region.
