Rationale and Abstract

Nigeria, as Africa’s most populous country and the one with the greatest malaria burden, is key to the region’s future in controlling and, eventually, eliminating this devastating disease. As such, its decisions on whether to adopt and how to use the RTS,S/AS01 malaria vaccine are of critical importance. PATH is undertaking activities to support informed decision-making on malaria vaccine adoption in Nigeria.
