Objectives

To advance the malaria eradication agenda, while supporting enhanced leadership accountability, transparency and action.

Specific Objectives

1. DFID investment in malaria sustained ;
2. Increased PMI/US Gov investment in malaria sustained;
3. General resourcing for GFATM increased & malaria allocation not threatened;
4. Funding gap for scaled elimination in Mesoamerica & Hispaniola addressed;
5. Funding gap for scaled elimination in the Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS) addressed;
6. Funding gap for scaled elimination in the E8 sub-region addressed;
7. 2018 high level “Global Moment” event secures funding & political commitment in lead up to a WHA resolution for eradication in 2020.
