Fueling the Fight: Delivering the political will and financing to advance the malaria eradication agenda
Objectives
To advance the malaria eradication agenda, while supporting enhanced leadership accountability, transparency and action.
Specific Objectives
- DFID investment in malaria sustained ;
- Increased PMI/US Gov investment in malaria sustained;
- General resourcing for GFATM increased & malaria allocation not threatened;
- Funding gap for scaled elimination in Mesoamerica & Hispaniola addressed;
- Funding gap for scaled elimination in the Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS) addressed;
- Funding gap for scaled elimination in the E8 sub-region addressed;
- 2018 high level “Global Moment” event secures funding & political commitment in lead up to a WHA resolution for eradication in 2020.
