Rationale and Abstract

For this, a prototype system for diagnosing malaria will be developed to be used on mobile devices, which guarantees accuracy, speed and low cost, through segmentation strategies, digital image processing of the Plamodia stages, machine learning and neural networks. , with the purpose of identifying the species of Plasmodia, categorizing the species and determining the parasite density.
