Accelerating to zero: innovative vector control for malaria elimination
Objectives
To generate and broadcast evidence on the demand for innovative vector control and the pipeline of vector control tools and approaches through systematic literature reviews, geospatial modelling, transmission modelling, case studies, technical reports, and expert convenings.
- Systematic review including readiness and feasibility of use of vector control tools that could be implemented today or in the near future.
- Technical analysis of aerial delivery of insecticides and larvicides.
- Cross-country case studies of mosquito control programs including delivery systems and tools.
- Modelling to improve understanding of factors and interventions influence malaria transmission.
