Interpreting Trends in Malaria Indicators Course

This course offered by The DHS Program Learning Hub teaches participants to understand and interpret malaria indicator trends from population-based household surveys. It is designed for professionals working in malaria control, including those from National Malaria Control Programs, Ministries of Health, implementing agencies, and donor organizations.
Course objectives:
- Explain the sampling and weighting techniques used by The DHS Program
- Recognize sampling errors that occur in a DHS survey and how these are displayed in reporting
- Accurately interpret a malaria case study for programmatic decision making
- Generate graphics of malaria trends in Excel
