The availability of sufficient cold chain capacity is crucial to the optimal performance of an immunization program. As an EPI manager, you need to make certain that there is sufficient cold chain capacity to store and deliver all the required vaccine products at the recommended temperatures at all points of the vaccine supply chain.

In this module, you will learn how to establish a cold chain, institute appropriate temperature monitoring practices, plan for maintenance and repair of cold chain equipment, and proactively plan for future cold chain capacity needs.
