Multisectorial approaches to prevent and control vector-borne diseases
TDR and partner organizations are funding research programmes investigating parasitic diseases such as malaria, schistosomiasis, lymphatic filariasis, and trypanosomiasis; and arboviral diseases such as Rift Valley fever, dengue, chikungunya and Zika virus, around the world.
This course is about multisectoral approaches (MSAs) and their benefits. Collaboration among different sectors is necessary to control diseases with complex interactions between pathogens, vectors, humans, environmental conditions, and socioeconomic factors.
