In order to apply vector control effectively in time and space and to make optimal use of limited resources, it is important to conduct effective planning and do so in a strategic manner. This course looks at how vector surveillance & control fits into the overall context of a National Malaria Control Plan, what are the essential elements of a vector surveillance & control programme, and how to go about developing an effective plan.
