The Women in Malaria (WiM) community came together for its 1st virtual WiM Conference in 2021. During 22–24 March 2021, the contribution of women in the fight against malaria was celebrated with an all-women lineup of organizers, presenters, and chairs.
The 1st WiM Conference organizers were Dr. Elena Gómez-Díaz and Professor Sarah Reece.
