Supporting resource mobilisation for national and regional elimination in Southern Africa through the development of investment cases

Objectives

To strengthen resource mobilisation efforts for malaria elimination in the Elimination 8 (E8) countries of Southern Africa through the development of investment cases using mathematical modelling. To develop a regional investment case for the E8, and separate country-level and sub-national investment cases for South Africa and Namibia.

Over the next two years, the Malaria Elimination Initiative (MEI) will strengthen local and regional capacity to advocate for and mobilise additional resources, budget and plan for malaria elimination in Southern Africa through partnership with the E8, and national and sub-national malaria programs.
